Jewelers for over 100 years!

At the beginning of the decade in which the wristwatch became popular in the world, Anselmo 1910 was born in Portugal.

A year that marked the pulse of a Portuguese brand of reference and a family that has in its DNA the passion for jewelry and watchmaking. The 1910s were a remarkable period in world history.

The First World War triggered, the Russian Revolution began, the Republic was established in Portugal and the Portuguese coin became the escudo. A time of political, social and artistic changes. Throughout the world, modern movements were growing, especially in painting and music.

The radio became popular as a mass medium, the car as a mean of transport, but also the wristwatch, which allowed, above all, soldiers, a better control of time.

Aware of what was happening in the world, Anselmo dos Santos Torres chose the year 1910 to open his first jewelry store in Torres Vedras, which, after more than 110 years, remains in the same place. Guided by the permanent discovery of the exceptional, Anselmo dos Santos Torres has marked, since the company's foundation, an encounter with prestige. The passion for the activity has crossed five generations. Currently, Nuno Torres, great-grandson of the founder, takes the leadership of a brand with more than 110 years.

What does not change over time is the quality of the brands that Anselmo 1910 represents, with great emphasis on Portuguese Jewelry, publicizing already renowned designers and giving opportunity to new ones. Anselmo 1910's own creations complete the show of excellence with pieces that inhabit the jewelry shops in Lisbon, Porto, Braga and Torres Vedras where the company was born 110 years ago.

Vision “We want to perpetuate our centenary brand over time, supporting Portuguese Jewelery, with an eye on the future, based on knowledge, tradition, sustainability and a history of more than 110 years.”
